New Playthrough Video by "Botany and Board"

Baley and Wyatt, the incredible duo behind the "Botany and Board" Youtube channel (I know, couldn't be a more perfect match for our game), have made a fantastic playthrough video featuring Botany. Check it out:

Stretch Goals

You all have unlocked even more stretch goals! Since the last update:

• A new bonus scoring card has been unlocked for the game.
• The back of the game board will now be printed with gorgeous botanical studies.
• The inside of the box lid will now feature a Victorian era map of London. 

And the next stretch goal we have unveiled is a big one! Each of the 5 pairs of player pawns will now have a unique design inspired by Victorian chess pieces! We are ridiculously excited for this one, and we can't wait to show them off when they're ready. 

We are over here working super hard to come up with even more stretch goals that are fun and add value to the game. We'll be unveiling more as the campaign continues!

6301% Funded! Shipping Hubs in the EU, UK, Canada and Australia!

Gosh the love just keeps going! We cannot thank you all enough for helping to bring our game to life! 7 days in and so far we are 6301% funded with $315,077 raised from over 4550 backers!

 Shipping Hubs in the EU, UK, Canada, and Australia 

That's right! We got so many backers in all 4 of those regions that we can officially offer shipping from a hub in each one. Check out the Estimated Shipping section of our campaign page for all the details and the updated estimated rate ranges.  As always, please remember that, due to the current volatility of shipping costs, shipping payments will be collected in EasyShip Collect well after the end of the campaign, close to our ship date, and final charges for shipping and sales tax or VAT (where applicable) will be determined based on actual shipping costs incurred.

Ok, global shipping and logistics are fun, I know, but now onto the really fun stuff....

 Stretch Goals 

You all just keep unlocking our stretch goals like crazy! Since the last update:

•  Miss Hua Li joined the ranks of our playable Plant Hunters. (If you read that with the New Challenger siren sound and graphic from Smash Bros in the back of your mind, bonus points for you!) 
• We unlocked a new bonus card for end game scoring opportunities. 
• We upgraded the dice to have a custom flower icon on the 1-side, and they will now resemble old Victorian bone dice. 
• We unlocked a custom GameTrayz box organizer (we were EXTRA excited for this one!).
• The game board will now come with a linen finish. 
• The rulebook will now have a linen finish, too! 

And we have two more stretch goals ready to be unlocked: another new bonus card for end-game scoring opportunities and a beautiful collage of Victorian flower art to be printed on the back of the game board. 

Social Goals

And if all those things weren't enough fun already, you all have unlocked almost all of our social goals! The 5 Estate mats will now have a vintage leather image printed on the back, all the cards in the game will have linen texture, and Duchess Eliza Darlington has joined the game as a playable character! The only social goal left is 1500 followers on our Instagram (@duxsomnium), and we are getting so close!

It is with the utmost sincerity that we express our heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming support we have received in the last 2 days! So far we are 2571% funded with $128,584 raised from over 1900 backers! You have absolutely made our dreams a reality, and it is incredible to see such a passionate crew rally behind our botanical expedition. We want to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts! We are already hard at work on even more exciting expansions and other games that we believe will delight and challenge you and will cultivate a community that celebrates the wonder and beauty of the botanical world!

We started yesterday thinking that the three stretch goals we had posted would last at least a few days to a week, not 90 minutes.....so we have some FUN things to show off! 

First, you all unlocked a new Plant Hunter, Mr. Amaros Mostafa, 2 new Expedition Cards, the Climbing Spike and Ammunition, and (one of Amy's absolute favorites) gold foil detail on the game box! 

Next we posted a stretch goal for gold foil detail on the Estate Mats. That lasted maybe an hour at best before it was unlocked, too. 

So then we said, "Why not? Let's go all in on the foil and add some detailing on the game board." That lasted until around dinner time. 

Well the next two stretch goals are up, but while I was writing this you just unlocked another new Plant Hunter, Miss Jane Primrose. 

So, as of right now, that leaves one more Plant Hunter to unlock! The next stretch goal is another incredible Plant Hunter, Miss Hua Li! 

But don't worry, we have even more stretch goals to reveal, so we'll be posting those on the campaign page soon as well.
