Due to the volatility of shipping (and sales tax / VAT / GST) prices globally right now, shipping (and sales tax / VAT / GST) fees for this project will be calculated at a later date once we have the best estimates for everyone. We plan to enter & charge backers for shipping and sales tax / VAT / GST a month or two before fulfillment when we have better estimates of what it will cost to ship backers rewards. Your card will be charged once at that time for any add-ons you add through BackerKit, sales tax / VAT / GST (where applicable), and shipping. We will alert backers when shipping costs are finalized & before we charge your cards in your BackerKit survey. We will keep you informed all along the way!

Is there a solo mode?
Yep! In solo play, you’re up against an A.I. opponent named Abigail Inglesby. (See what we did with her initials? he he) You take your turns as normal, and then you move Abigail through a simplified version of her turn as she collects specimens as well. Most of the rest of the game proceeds as normal, and at the end you compare your points to Abigail’s. If you scroll part way down our campaign page, there’s a link to Download the Rules, and that has the full solo rules toward the back of the book.

What size cards come with the base game and expansions?
The base game comes with (160) 70x120mm cards, (75) 63x88mm cards, and (50) 50x75mm cards. The Tantalizing Trees and Perilous Perfumes expansions each come with (63) 70x120mm cards, (30) 63x88mm cards, and (20) 50x75mm cards.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

When you make a pledge to our project, it's important to understand that the materials and final design of the project are subject to change. This means that the end product may not be exactly the same as what is presented on this Kickstarter campaign page.
Please ensure that you confirm your pledge, address, and any other necessary information for us to ship your product to you within the specified timeframe. If we send you an email notification and you do not confirm your pledge within 4 weeks, you agree that we have fulfilled our obligations to you in full for any payment or donations received. Nevertheless, if you contact us to confirm your pledge after the 4-week window has passed, we may choose to refund your payment or ship your pledge at our discretion.
In the event that we make two unsuccessful attempts to ship your rewards to the address you have provided, any further postage or shipping costs to resend your rewards will be your responsibility.
We have worked extremely hard to make this product ready for Kickstarter and full-scale manufacturing. We’re confident in our ability to produce our product at quality in mass and fulfill all our perks on time. However, things don’t always go as planned. Here are a few of risks that may come up, and our plan to address them:
MANUFACTURING: We have a trusted manufacturer lined up and will have quality assurance people on site during production. Despite this, manufacturing delays can still happen. Whether it’s an unexpected backlog, bad timing with holidays, or a quality assurance issue on the ground floor, we’ll let you know immediately. Our #1 priority is product quality followed by timely delivery.
FULFILLMENT: Sometimes, stuff happens that can’t be planned for: a supplier misses a deadline, a package gets held up at customs, a shipment gets lost, or a global pandemic shuts down shipping ports around the world. Those things can cause delays. We are using an experienced logistics team to get our products to you. We’ll keep open and honest communication with you through our process so you know where your product is and when it’s going to get to you.
