We hope you're all having a wonderful week! Logistics first, and oh my goodness things are really starting to happen, and everything is getting very exciting! Here's the status for each region.
Shipping Status for Each Region
Australia / New Zealand
You all are up first this week! Everything has arrived at VR, and they've already begun prepacking. They're going to start shipping everything next week, and it should take them a couple weeks to get everything sent out! You'll be getting an email from VR with the tracking link.
United States
After taking a jet boat across the Pacific, customs decided they wanted to play a few rounds of Botany, apparently, which slowed everything right back down. Diamond is expecting everything to arrive at the fulfillment center next week, and then we'll know the specific date everything will start shipping. Once shipping starts, you'll be getting an email directly from us ([email protected]) with the tracking link.
Canada
Our Canada orders will be leapfrogging off the U.S. shipment, so those should start shipping to everyone about two weeks after the U.S. shipping begins. Once shipping starts, you'll be getting an email directly from us ([email protected]) with the tracking link.
UK/EU
The ship is still on it's way to port after having to route around Africa. GamesQuest is expecting it to arrive next week, and then we'll know the specific date everything will start shipping. Once shipping starts, you'll be getting an email from GamesQuest with the tracking link.
Rest of World
The games have arrived at our VFI hub. There are 57 countries in this batch and a lot of steps, so they will begin shipping next week, and should be finished shipping around the end of March or beginning of April. Once shipping starts, you'll be getting an email from GamesQuest or VFI with the tracking link.

We hope you're all having a wonderful week! Our freight to the U.S. travelled much faster than expected and should arrive at Diamond's fulfillment center in the next few days. That means that orders to our U.S. backers will likely begin shipping in the next week or two. We'll send another update when we know the exact date that shipping will begin, but in the meantime:

Backers Outside the U.S.
We can see on the tracking that the ships with your orders are getting closer to port every day! Rates for shipping and sales tax / VAT (if applicable) are now available to view on your BackerKit order. BackerKit will be processing payments for shipping, sales tax / VAT (if applicable) and add-ons selected in BackerKit on February 6th.
Shipping Rates
Shipping rates in the system are actual shipping costs incurred, and are the most accurate and up-to-date prices to pass savings on to you, our valued backers. We are super excited that, despite the global increase in shipping costs over the last few months, we were able to keep shipping rates for almost everyone within the ranges we presented on our campaign page. Here are the ranges from our campaign page for reference:
Taxes
If your order is subject to sales tax or VAT, the tax amount will be shown on your order in BackerKit. If you see a tax amount on your order:
For the UK and EU, we are required to collect and remit VAT on all orders.
For the U.S., sales tax laws differ by state, but most states require sales tax to be charged if we have a physical nexus in a state or an economic nexus based on the total quantity or value of transactions in a given state. These determinations are made on a business by business basis, and the sales tax requirements that we have met may be different from the sales tax requirements of other companies running campaigns on Kickstarter. Our sales and local tax accountant has identified and verified the states in which Dux Somnium, LLC (that's us!) must collect and remit sales tax, and those states will be reflected within BackerKit. We are not able to confirm the tax obligations of other companies.

Now, the fun part!
Introducing La Petite Fleur!
Yep! We're making a version of La Fleur for families and kids as young as 5! It will be available as an add-on item on La Fleur's Kickstarter campaign for anyone who knows a little garden enthusiast who loves flowers and animals. Our kids are biased I'm sure, but they LOVE it! Here's the box cover and a little introduction:
Frolicking, friends, and flowers! Players take on the role of little garden enthusiasts as they invite animal friends to their garden party. At the beginning of the game, your garden party has no guests! How will you ever laugh and play at your party without animal friends to share in the fun!
Each round you will send your helpers to different parts of the garden at Versailles to collect flowers, find coins, trade, and invite animal friends to your party. But be quick! Flowers and friends are limited each round, and your neighbors are also inviting guests for a garden party of their very own. When one player reaches the 10 Friendship points, the current round is finished, all players add the bonus from their objective, and the player with the most points wins!
We'll have more sneak peeks for both La Fleur and La Petite Fleur, too, as we get closer to the Kickstarter campaign.

The First Transport is Away!
Actually all the ships are loaded and on their way, but I am always looking for an excuse to quote Star Wars. This means we're still on track to hit the March delivery estimate on our campaign. Panda sent us pics of our Australia container being loaded. If your copy is shipping to Australia or New Zealand, your copy of Botany could be in these pics!
Panda made 20 La Fleur prototypes for us, and they are GORGEOUS! La Fleur's Kickstarter campaign will be launching this spring after Botany has fulfilled, so more on that coming soon!
